One of the greatest joys of fellowship with God is the act of communion, and it can very much become one of the most powerful aspects of our entire journey through life. Communion gives us direct access to fellowshipping with God, and with this fellowshipping, our spiritual life is enriched beyond words, our strength is built upon tremendously, and our faith is mended in unbreakable ways.
1 Corinthians 10:16 says, “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?”
The body and the blood of Jesus are more to all of us than just a symbol or a story; it’s the power from God so strong and mighty, that the Devil, or any of his demons, could never come close to prevailing against it. Having the ability to become one with God will grant you the power to hold onto all of your blessings, and you will find yourself in a greater place, one where you begin to witness more miracles occurring, where your strength becomes tenfold, and where your spirit is set free in the grace and love of Jesus Christ.I pray that from here on out, you are overwhelmed with the blessings that God has bestowed upon you, and that you find yourself more spiritually connected to his power and grace. Let him show you the way, let him guide you down the path of righteousness and fellowship, and you will find that all of your weaknesses will be washed away, and in its place, there will be a great wall of spiritual strength that will be standing to tell anyone who attempts to hurt you that you are a new creature, born again in the grace of our mighty God and forever protected from harms way!
I encourage you to order this week’s special offer “The Communion Life” package and discover the complete empowerment of communion.
One of the biggest challenges we as believers often face is finding and determining the differences between the power of the flesh and the power of the spirit. Simply knowing the differences between these two will have a drastic impact on your spiritual and mental well-being, because, as described in Romans 8:13, “…if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” We are put at great risk when we allow the powers of the flesh to overcome our moral judgment, but I can guarantee you that it is never too late to change your life and begin to overcome your flesh by walking in the spirit!
Now you may be asking, “Pastor, what does it mean to walk in the spirit, how do I accomplish that?” Well my friend, just as I mentioned in the video, Jesus said “My words, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). So every time you come into agreement with God’s word and obey it, you are walking in the spirit. Amen, it’s that simple!
Now, more than ever, is the time to really re-evaluate where your mind is spiritually. If there are areas that are flesh driven then begin to renew your mind with the word of God and allow that word to enter you into the spirit led life. In this week’s product offer “The Power to Conquer Your Flesh” you’ll discover step by step how to overcome your flesh, and walk consistently in the spirit. This is every Christian’s goal, so I encourage you to order yours today!
Our words have more power than we could ever possibly imagine, and it is those exact same words that we can use to bring not only a great amount of praise to God, but also dramatic shifts in our lives for the better. Proverbs 16:24 states that “Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones,” meaning that the words we use to describe, to discuss, and to communicate are the exact same words we should be using to spread the joy and blessings of the Lord.
The story I shared with you illustrates the power of a spoken blessing. This 7-year old boy, who should be living in awe and wonder of the world around him, was instead struggling with the burdens of depression and anxiety. His parents were desperate for help, until God spoke to them, and instructed them to speak the blessing over him, and before they knew it, their son had regained his confidence and found joy.
Proverbs 18:21 tells us that “ life and death is in the tongue.” So speak Life! Find opportunities every day to bless those in your life and wake up every morning reminding yourself of God’s blessings and promises. There is nothing the Lord, loves more, than knowing that His children are at peace with the world around them and the world within.
Praise God in everything. Use your words to build a sanctuary for peace, and spread the love of Jesus to every ear, every mind, and every heart!
