Sin is Not Your Master!

Quitting a habit or sin can be one of the hardest things in life, but it becomes easy when we realize Jesus didn’t just die to forgive us of our sin, but to give us power over it, and free us from being in bondage to anything!

Romans 6:14 says, “Sin shall not have dominion over you.” Many people have read this as a command. Yet, this is not a command—it’s a powerful promise from God! Rather than reading it fearfully—“Oh no, I better make sure that sin doesn’t have dominion over me!”—Read it as a promise that God is going to back up. “Sin doesn’t have dominion over me; I have dominion over it. God has made me to rule and reign in life!”

In 1 Corinthians 15:34, Paul tells believers to, “Awake to righteousness and sin not.” In other words, when the alarm clock goes off and you are awakened to the fact that you are righteous, you’ll say, “Whoa! I’m the righteousness of God! Whoa! Through the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness I reign in life!” When you awaken to this truth, sin loses its power over your body and your mind. How?

Romans 6:14 continues, “Sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under grace.” What does it mean to be under grace? It means grace reigns in our lives. We bow our knee to the grace of God. We bow our knee to what Jesus did for us. So sin is not our master—but grace is! Meaning, we’re guided by grace, governed by grace and EMPOWERED by grace.

Yes, we’re saved by God’s grace, but it does much more than just save us. Titus 2:11 says, “It is the grace of God that enables and instructs us to resist and deny ungodliness.” So the grace of God is God’s divine
enablement and divine empowerment to live godly lives!

Set your alarm clock to righteousness today and declare God’s promise with confidence: “Sin does not have dominion over me. I’m not under the power of any sin, I’m under grace-which is God’s divine empowerment to live a life free from sin. I’m the righteousness of God and therefore I rule and reign in this life!”

I’m so excited to make my “Living Free” Package available because I know that you will experience real freedom through this powerful revelation of your dominion over sin and temptation. Take advantage of this special offer & let grace empower you today and every day!

Ready for Anything

Would you like to succeed in everything you do, and come out of every situation in life completely victorious? Who doesn’t want that, right?
Well, it is possible for you to be ready for ANYTHING!

In Matthew 25, Jesus talks about ten virgins; five of them were wise and five of them were foolish. Verse 6 says, “At midnight a cry was heard:
‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!” The midnight hour was coming for all ten virgins. Yet only the wise were ready. Why? Because they had oil for their lamps.

In the same way, YOU can be ready for YOUR midnight hour for Jesus ‘return and ready for anything, IF you are prepared with OIL.

I believe oil represents four things in the Bible

#1 Oil represents the Word of God. Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy Word oh Lord is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” God’s Word provides the wisdom, promises and the power to be READY FOR ANYTHING.

#2 Oil represents the Holy Spirit. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. (Acts 10:38) The word ‘Anointing’ means “to smear or rub with oil”.
The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life will lead, guide and equip you to be READY FOR ANYTHING.

#3 Oil represents the Church. Psalm 133:1-2 says, “How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in UNITY, it is like precious oil upon the head” And in verse 3, it says that unity releases God’s blessing. When you get plugged in and connected with your local church, there’s an anointing & a blessing that makes you READY FOR ANYTHING.

#4 Oil represents Sacrificial Giving. When you give to God an offering or sacrificial seed that is valuable to you, you are like the woman who poured expensive perfumed oil upon Jesus’ feet. Jesus said what she did would not be forgotten-and neither will the harvest from your seed. That surely makes you READY FOR ANYTHING!

As you fill your heart and mind with the Word of God, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, stay united with your church, and give sacrificially, you are filling your lamp with oil like the wise virgins-and READY FOR ANYTHING!

There is so much more I want to share with you from my complete teaching series entitled “Ready for Anything!”

Cheers! Celebrate Life Today!

It’s the eternal pursuit: freedom from pain or the attainment of pleasure.

Every commercial on TV is strategically designed to promise you their product will either take away some pain from or give you pleasure, right? It may be a car advertised with a beautiful woman, implying that you’ll get the woman when you buy their car. Or something straightforward like aspirin, promises to take away your pain. Everyone experiences pain or deals with trouble in life. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble.” The difference is, for the non-Christian, the trouble never ends! No wonder people get involved with alcohol, drugs, pornography—or anything to dull the pain, or experience a temporary sense of gratification. The problem with that is: these counterfeits can never truly take away the pain or offer the real pleasure God wants us to experience.

But Jesus CAN alleviate your pain AND Jesus WILL give you real pleasure. The Bible says in I Peter 2:24 that Jesus bore our pain, and by His stripes we are healed! There are a hundred mentions of pain in the Bible in one form or another, but there are two hundred mentions of healing! God provides twice as much healing for whatever pain you may be going through. Expect God to give you a double portion to relieve you from your suffering! The Bible also says, “In the presence of the Lord is fullness of joy and in His right hand are pleasures forevermore.” See, Jesus is THE SOURCE of true pleasure!

When we realize this, life can be a celebration! Notice what Jesus said at the end of John 16:33, “In this world, you will have tribulation but be of GOOD CHEER! Why? Because HE has overcome the world, so that through Him YOU can live a victorious life, a good life, and a life of celebration! Jesus says, “Cheers!” The victory He already obtained gives us a reason to rejoice, and have hope that no matter what we’re facing right now, it is going to turn around!

Cheers!
