Practice the Miraculous Power Of Prayer

The Miraculous Power of Prayer

Have you ever read something in the Bible that tripped you up? Maybe it does that to you even now. For example: “…The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16b). Another translation reads: “… The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”

But to walk in this great power, and experience these wonderful results, the one prerequisite is: you have to be RIGHTEOUS! And that is the problem for so many Christians. They feel disqualified to pray with power because they don’t feel righteous. They know they’ve fallen, failed or blown it.

But we need to realize something amazing—we can’t obtain righteousness. We become righteous through Jesus Christ!

In the Old Testament, men attempted to be “righteous” by their outward actions. But Jesus changed all that forever through HIS ACTION ALONE!

He took all our sin and nailed it to the Cross. It was the Great Exchange! The moment you were born again, you were made the righteousness of God in Christ! Our sins have been removed, and we are now righteous in God’s eyes. Hear me with your spiritual ears: You NO LONGER HAVE TO TRY to obtain righteousness— you ARE the righteousness of God—NOW!

Righteousness can’t be earned. It is a gift! Romans 5:17 says, “through the abundance of grace and the GIFT of righteousness, we reign in this life.”

By realizing you are NOW the righteousness of God, you now have the power to exercise your rights to reign over your problems, in Christ, through prayer!

Religion always gets you focused on what you’ve done wrong. BUT GOD focuses on what Jesus did right! And through His act of righteousness, you are now made righteous. That means 2 things:

  1. You are right WITH God.
  2. You have the rights OF the Son of God, since you are now one of His sons or daughters.

Now, we can go boldly before God, not in our holiness or what we’ve done; but as blood-bought righteous sons and daughters, appealing to our Father for whatever we need—without fear, shame, guilt, or condemnation!

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” —Hebrews 4:16

NOW you can approach God because there is no separation anymore; no barrier between you and Him. His blood has made the way! Now you can ask Him for whatever you need! And boldly declare to every mountain that it has to move, because you are the righteousness of God!

If all that is true (and it is!), why does it seem that your prayers are not being answered?

Satan has beaten us down with condemnation & guilt; and tried to convince us that we because we’re not holy all the time, we are disqualified to pray. That’s why we have to remember there is NO condemnation for those in Christ—Romans 8:1. Why is there no condemnation? Because we are now the righteousness of God; and He sees us just like He sees Jesus!

The devil has blinded Believers to the truth of who they are in Christ, blinded them to the truth that they can boldly ask God for His power, mercy & grace.

We NOW have the power to pray, because we are NOW the righteousness of God.

Prayer has the power to change nations! To change governments! To change economies! To change families! To change our health! To change EVERYTHING!

No wonder Satan doesn’t want you knowing you have the authority in Christ to walk in this miraculous power of prayer! He doesn’t want you to know the power you have!

The devil wants you to continue feeling powerless the rest of your life. And if he can keep you ignorant of your right-standing with God, then you will remain powerless to experience all that God has for you in prayer…

… All that He wants to do in your family, in your finances, in your health!

You name it, prayer changes EVERYTHING and Satan is robbing people of the power to pray. Ever hear a doctor say they have done everything they can for someone, then say, “All that’s left to do is pray.”

Why do we try to fix things ourselves first? Why not start with boldly asking our Heavenly Father for whatever we need, and expect the miraculous results?

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” —Mark 11:24

Let’s tap into the invisible, supernatural, unlimited, miraculous source of power that God has so graciously afforded us! The power of PRAYER!!!

Prayer is more powerful than anything visible. More powerful than dynamite, than gasoline, than nuclear power! No matter how hard the world or the devil try, prayer can’t be thrown away! Prayer can’t be hidden! Prayer can’t be silenced! Prayer can’t be stopped! Prayer changes EVERYTHING! And you have this power available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year!

Look at what God goes on to say about the power of prayer:

“Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.” —James 5:17

The most incredible things of God can never be received any other way except through the instrument and the power and the authority of prayer.

God has given us a power that the devil trembles at—the power of prayer. Satan tried to sift Peter like wheat, but Jesus’ prayer turned him into a giant apostle that changed the world.

Prayer is our greatest untapped resource; it is the source of energy and power that man has been searching for, for thousands of years! It is the greatest source of prosperity. It’s the greatest source of peace. It’s the greatest source of joy; and it’s the greatest source of happiness.

Prayer, when done the way God intended, is simply the greatest source of power we have on this earth, and in this earth—our earthen vessels. It’s time to tap into its power. It’s time to pray and get results. It doesn’t have to take forever.

You have the power to blow the devil away—along with the problems he brings—like a keg of gunpowder through the miraculous power of prayer!

What to Do When Things Don’t Go Your Way

What to Do When Things Don’t Go Your Way

Life doesn’t always go the way we planned, does it? Something unexpected happens. We hear bad news. There is trouble at work. Cars break down. Family members say things or do things that hurt us. Someone promises something and then disappoints us…

The Bible doesn’t promise that we will never have problems … but God makes us a POWERFUL PROMISE in Romans 8:28 …that ALL THINGS work together for GOOD to those that love Him and are called to His purpose.

The only way to love Him, is to realize how unconditionally He loves us!

I want to share with you what you can do when things don’t go your way … but first let me share with you FOUR THINGS NOT TO DO:

  1. DON’T GIVE IN TO ANGER. Every one of us is tempted to get mad when things don’t go our way. But anger DELAYSthe outcome we want. James 1:19 says – Anger does not achieve the righteousness of God.

NOTICE: anger doesn’t ‘achieve’… When you realize it won’t achieve anything, anger loses its control over you! We can’t control who knocks at our door, but we CAN CONTROL who we let in.

The temptation to live in anger subsides when we know God is going to work this thing out for our good.

  2. DON’T QUIT. If your prayer isn’t answered, what happens? You might say, “Well God, maybe it wasn’t YOUR WILLfor me to have this.” But if it wasn’t God’s will for you to have it, then why ask Him for it to begin with?

SINCE GOD’S WORD IS HIS WILL, before you ask for anything, simply find a promise for it in Scripture. The Bible tells us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to His will, we can know that we have what we ask for. It’s yours. It just hasn’t shown up yet!

Resist the temptation to give up, by knowing its God’s job (and His promise) to bring it to pass!

  3. DON’T THROW AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE in the GOODNESS OF GOD. We may not understand all that happens in our lives, BUT GOD IS STILL A GOOD GOD. No matter what has happened or hasn’t happened, don’t let life’s problems dictate what you are going to believe about God.

Resist the temptation to throw away your confidence that you “will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13).

  4. DON’T PANIC. God knows the future. He knows what He’s doing. He has already provided an answer, a solution – AN ESCAPE.

God said in Jeremiah 29:11 (Message) – “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out… plans to give you the future you hope for!

When things don’t go your way, take a leap of faith and relax. He has a plan. Your future is bright. Its going to get better!

Now that you know WHAT NOT TO DO, what should you do when things go wrong?

  1. TRUST GOD ANYWAY! I will trust and I will not be afraid (Isaiah 12:2). Trust is a choice to BELIEVE WHAT HIS WORD SAYS. When things don’t go our way, WE TRUST HIM ANYWAY. When our plans aren’t working out, WE TRUST HIM ANYWAY.

Trusting God means believing He will keep His promise to us, even when things don’t make sense – when we don’t see things working out… we believe God is still turning things in our favor.

  2. GIVE GOD TIME. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, …He makes ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME. Time is on YOUR SIDE because God created time! And He is on YOUR SIDE!

There is ALWAYS enough time for God to work. No matter what bad decisions you’ve made or what the enemy has stolen from your life over the years, GOD CAN RESTORE IT ALL!

IN ONE MOMENT, God can make up for years of loss or frustration in your life!

This is YOUR MOMENT! God promises He will turn EVERYTHING that happens in our life into something GOOD. (Romans 8:28)

The Root to a Prosperous Life

What is the Root to a Successful Life?
A Revelation of the Gift of Righteousness

What is the biggest concern in your life – right now?

Your finances? Your health? Your family? Mistakes you have made in the past?

The devil understands something that most Christians don’t.

Did you know that the Bible does not call the devil “the enemy of all success?” It does not call him the enemy of all health. The Bible does not call him the enemy of all peace—or of all wisdom—or of all love—or of all joy.

The Bible calls the devil “the ENEMY OF ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS” (Acts 13:10).

Because the devil knows that righteousness is the key to all of God’s blessing, victory, and success in your life!

That is why the devil will do anything to keep the magnificent truth of RIGHTEOUSNESS from you. He focuses on attacking the truth of the gift of righteousness in your life. He tries to chain you to a sense of inferiority and keep you thinking less of yourself than what God thinks about you.

But when you are established in the gift of righteousness, you will finally experience all that God has for you, because it’s God’s desire to bless you with victory and prosperity in every area of your life!

Righteousness is not something we produce through our own efforts though—it is a gift from God that He gives us the moment we are born again! Romans 5:17 says that “those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”

Why aren’t we reigning in life? Because Satan is doing everything he can to keep the reality of this truth from us.

The word “righteous” literally means you are in “right standing” with God. It means you have the right to stand in the presence of God—without guilt or shame or condemnation—free from the sense of inferiority or fear. To be righteous means that God is as pleased with you as He is with Jesus!

Think about that for a moment . . . GOD IS PLEASED WITH YOU the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life! At that moment, you are just as righteous as He is! Wow!

But until you understand this amazing truth, you will never truly feel like you can please Him. But because of His tremendous love for you, He has made it possible.

We are not BECOMING righteous. We were MADE righteous when Jesus was MADE sin on the cross—2 Corinthians 5:21. It is an exchange. He exchanged our sin for His righteousness. What a deal! The moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you were made the righteousness of God! Now we are all in the process of UNDERSTANDING how to live in the revelation of this righteousness—but there is not a thing we have to do—or can do—to earn it or deserve it. It is God’s gift that brings His supernatural blessing to every area of your life!

Righteousness is the tap root to all of God’s blessings . . .

Favor (Psalm 5:12)

Healing (Malachi 4:2)

Victory over sin (Romans 5:17, 1 Corinthians 15:34)

Wisdom (Proverbs 2:7)

Spiritual growth (Psalm 92:12)

Deliverance from affliction (Psalm 34:19)

Peace (Isaiah 32:17)

Protection (Ephesians 6:14)

Boldness & Confidence (Proverbs 28:1)

. . . and the list goes on & on!

Is it any wonder why the devil has declared war on righteousness? It is the most powerful force in the Christian life!

Now, the devil can’t stop you from BEING righteous. But he can try to keep you from UNDERSTANDING it; and by doing so, prevent you from experiencing the benefits of it.

Satan is the enemy of righteousness, because he knows how powerful this gift really is. He wants to keep you from living in all the victory that righteousness brings. He wants to keep you inferior and insecure; discouraged, depressed and afraid.

But—you can stop the enemy of righteousness today!

The devil knows that once you truly understand the power of the righteousness of God in your life, he will lose any hope of limiting or controlling your life. This is why I want to help you experience the amazing blessings of this gift in your life.

The Bible says in Isaiah 54:14 that God will establish you in righteousness. The righteousness of God provides an unshakeable foundation for our lives. It is our rock to stand on in the midst of every storm.

Is your heart and mind firmly established in righteousness?

Are you confident that God is pleased with you right now?

If you have any uncertainty about this—if there is any question in your mind—or if you just want to see the wave of God’s blessing storm into your life, let me encourage you right now to do these three things:

First: Ask God for supernatural understanding of this amazing gift of righteousness. We all need a revelation of who we are and what God has done for us. We will not reign in life without deeply understanding the gift of righteousness.

Second: Ask for my teaching on the gift of righteousness right away. God wants to fill your mind with a consciousness of righteousness because He knows that the enemy gains access into our lives when we lack confidence about who we are in Christ.

Third: Sow into righteousness. Plant your best seed into the soil of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Isaiah 32:17-20 says, “The result of righteousness will be peace and quiet confidence forever . . . Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, how blessed are you who sow seed beside abundant waters . . . ”

You will be blessed when you sow seeds into the abundant soil of righteousness!
