Tornado Love

Tornado Love

Love is invincible facing danger and death.

Passion laughs at the terrors of hell.

The fire of love stops at nothing —

it sweeps everything before it.

Flood waters can’t drown love,

torrents of rain can’t put it out—Song of Solomon 8:7

God’s love is a BEAUTIFUL DISASTER! When it hits you, it’s going to be a like a tornado. Listen to Solomon’s description again—It’s invincible. It laughs at terror; it stops at nothing; and nothing can stop it! WOW! That’s what I’m talking about. That’s what God feels toward you!

It sweeps everything before it. God’s love sweeps away…

… our sin.

… our loneliness.

… our pain.

… our fears.

…When the love of God hits you the way I’m praying it will, NOTHING WILL REMAIN THE SAME!

It’s going to wreck your old fears and limitations; it’s going to ruin your old view of yourself and others; it’s going to sweep you off of your feet and take you to a place that you’ve never been before.

God’s love comes in like a storm in our lives … not to hurt us, but to blow away what has been hurting us; to destroy what is destroying us; to bring disaster to what has been bringing disaster to us all our lives.

He comes with a vengeance. But his vengeance is not against you. It’s against the things that are hurting you.

He takes vengeance out on fear; He takes His vengeance out on anxiety, sickness and lack; He takes His vengeance out on anything that tries to hurt His precious children–Everything that has ever tried to get in the way between you and Him. For God is a jealous God.

Do you want an encounter with God like that? Do you want a Christianity like that – a Christianity that is so full of love and power that it changes you? So full of goodness and mercy that follows you, seeks you and chases you down?

You see, God doesn’t have to be chased by us. His love is so great, that He’s the one who chases us!

The prodigal son’s father didn’t wait for his son to get all the way home. As soon as he saw a glimpse of his son in the corner of his eye far off in the distance…

he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him continually. Luke 15:20

That’s aggressive, invincible, tornado love! That’s the love of God! The father didn’t wait for the son to clean up his act; or change his clothes, or become a servant. The son just turned toward his father, and the Father came running, chasing, embracing, kissing, blessing & healing!

God is chasing you down with His goodness & love!

The bride in Song of Solomon 2:16 says, “My lover is mine and I am his”.

We belong to each other! When you discover that this is the kind of relationship God wants to have with you, it changes how you look at yourself; how you look at Him, and how you look at others. You are no longer alone in this fight to try to conquer life and conquer sin. You are ONE WITH HIM. He is yours and you are His. This love-relationship conquers all. This love never fails. This love gives you purpose and meaning and reason to live. It gives you something to look forward to every day of your life.

All the temptations of the enemy are temptations to doubt God’s love for us. When the devil tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he said “Throw yourself down from here. Your angels will catch you” (Luke 4:9, Matthew 4:6) And Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’

What Jesus was saying at that point was in essence: “I won’t throw myself down, because God loves me too much … He has a plan for my life and there’s too much to live for. I am not going to kill myself because God’s love for me is too great and His purpose for me is too great. I am too significant to Him, I am too important to Him, too valuable to Him.”

You see the temptation to give up or give in, went away when Jesus reminded himself and the enemy that the Father loved him too much to let him throw his life away.

And that’s exactly how God feels about you!

Say to yourself: “I will not throw myself down because of low value or low self-worth, I am worth everything God paid for me. He wouldn’t have bought me with His blood if He didn’t love me. He wouldn’t have bought me with His blood if He didn’t value me. He wouldn’t have bought me with His blood if He didn’t think I was significant to Him.

God didn’t send his Son, Jesus, to die for what was insignificant … He died because

And that’s the kind of love that sweeps away all sin, loneliness, temptation, pain & fear. That’s tornado love! Get ready to be swept away!

The Gift of Hope

How to receive the gift of Hope!

It’s been said that man can live 4 weeks without food; 4 days without water; 4 minutes without air; but we can’t live 4 seconds without hope!

Hope is like having a dream that you believe will come to pass; expecting a promise from God to come to pass. To have hope is to know that things are going to get better no matter how they may look right now.

Romans 5:5 says, “Hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 5:5) If hope does not disappoint, then why are so many people disappointed? They’ve lost hope.

Besides what we see in the news, our personal concerns about the future, our finances, our children, job security, and relationships can leave us feeling hopeless. Maybe you’ve lost hope about something in your life, or know someone who has.

Who hasn’t asked the question at one time or another: Is there any hope? Is there any hope that things will turn around? Is there any hope that life will get better? Is there any hope that your dream will come true? The answer is a resounding, YES!

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to GIVE you a future and a hope.” Your future and your hope are GIFTS from God, that no one can take away! Do you see that? HOPE IS A GIFT! All you have to do is receive it and you can walk in divine hope every day. Here’s how:

#1: Look to the God of hope. Romans 15:13 says, “NOW the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace through believing that you may abound in hope.” God is the God of hope, NOW. Remember when God introduced Himself to Moses and said, “Tell Pharoah to let my people go.” And Moses asked, “Who shall I say you are?” Aren’t you glad God didn’t say, “Tell pharaoh I am the great I WAS. Or the great, “ I Will BE One Day.” No, God said, “I am the great I AM. He is the God in your present. He IS NOW the God of hope.

#2: Look UP, rather than OUT at your situation. When you look around at your circumstances and limitations, it can often be discouraging and disappointing. But when you look UP and look to Him, at His possibilities, hope comes. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

#3: Look at how God does things. God takes us from the Old Testament to the New Testament, from the law to grace, from sin to righteousness, from sickness to healing, from fear to love, from defeat to victory. “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, it gets BRIGHTER & BRIGHTER until the full day.” (Proverbs 4:13) He never takes us from good to bad; He always takes us from good to great. When your hope is in God and His Word, things will always get BETTER and BETTER.

#4: Keep expecting God’s blessing & favor. That no matter how bad it looks— you can walk through every situation in life knowing there’s a blessing in it somewhere. In the midst of your sickness is healing, in the midst of your mess is a message, in the midst of your test is a testimony. Your calling is in the midst of your conquering. Look at Joseph in the Bible—there was no hope left for him, except what God had promised him; except the dream God had given. No matter how low life took him, as He looked to God, he went from the pit to Potipher’s house; from the prison to the Palace. And so will you!

There is always hope. Receive it as a gift from God today; and when you do, everything is going to be all right!

Restore, Recover and Reclaim

Restore, Recover & Reclaim

Have you suffered any type of loss lately?

Has the enemy stolen something from you that you want back?

Do you have a loved one that needs to be saved?

In Jesus’ name, that which was lost will be found, the stolen will be returned, and the unsaved will be restored!

Jesus said in Luke 19:10, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost!” Save means to restore – recover – reclaim!

God recently reminded me of this promise and said: “Tell My people, I specialize in finding lost things!” And I knew I had to remind you of this powerful promise immediately!

Whatever you have lost  – get ready – it is about to be found and returned to you! God specializes in finding lost things.

In Luke 15, Jesus talked about three lost things:

(1) the lost sheep (2) the lost coin (3) the lost son

God told me you have been affected in one or more of these three ways:

  • The lost sheep represents losing your way. You may feel disappointed, discouraged, or without direction. You may have lost your sense of purpose and significance. God wants to totally restore you!
  • The lost coin represents loss in your finances. You may have lost your home, your business, your job, your investments, or an opportunity that slipped away. God wants to recover this for you!
  • The lost son represents lost family members or loved ones, those who are not saved or who have backslidden. God wants to reclaim them for you and for the kingdom!

I want to see these lost things returned to you!

Here is what I am going to do…

I will personally pray and petition our Heavenly Father to restore, recover, and reclaim whatever you have lost.

In Jesus name, everything that was lost will be restored, recovered, and reclaimed!

Here is what you must do:

  • If you have a lost loved one, send me their name today!
  • If you have lost finances, tell me the kind of loss that you need to have restored.
  • If you have lost your way or purpose, tell me the specific area of your life that needs God’s restoration touch.

It is urgent that you must respond right away. I want to cover your loved one and your situation in prayer immediately. The sooner you send me their name or picture and your specific need using our Prayer Wall to Reclaim What’s Been Lost, or by posting your needs to BLOG COMMENTS BELOW, the sooner I can bathe them in prayer, along with the prayer support of our Prayer Wall participants! I will be praying specifically for God to restore what was taken – and redeem what was lost.

God can find, redeem, and restore everything you have lost!

Jesus always requires an act of faith to release His miracle power. I invite you to sow a generous seed as a point of contact to release your faith.

Sowing seed will release the restoration harvest God has prepared for you!

As soon as I hear from you, I will stand in the gap and intercede in faith-filled prayer for your lost loved one, your lost finances, or whatever is missing in your life. But I cannot do it until you submit your prayer request on the Prayer Wall.

Please do it today!

I believe our prayer of agreement will move heaven to intervene in your situation! I urge you to respond today – sow your restoration seed. Your restoration miracle is on the way!
